Two Syrians killed in Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon

Two Syrian nationals were killed Sunday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a motorcycle on the road between Al-Qulayleh and Deir Qanoun in southern Lebanon, Lebanese state media reported.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, civil defense teams were working with the Lebanese army to recover the victims’ bodies from the strike site.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry emergency operations center said a separate Israeli strike on the town of Bedias on Saturday killed one person and wounded 13 others, including six children and two women.

Israeli warplanes also carried out airstrikes on the towns of Jebchit, Shaqra, Safad al-Battikh and Srifa.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued demolishing homes in frontline villages and towns, particularly in Bint Jbeil and the town of al-Tayri, according to Lebanese media reports.

On Saturday, four people were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa Valley.
