Three people were killed and six others wounded Sunday in Israeli airstrikes targeting towns and villages across southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency, citing the Public Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center, reported that Israeli warplanes struck the Kharaj al-Qatrani area in Jezzine, killing one person and wounding another.

The agency said two additional strikes targeted Qlaweyeh and Tibnin in the Bint Jbeil district, killing two people and injuring five others.

Israeli aircraft also carried out strikes on Yahmar al-Shaqif, Adshit, Kfardjal, Dabaal, Majdal Selm and Srifa, while reconnaissance aircraft flew overhead.

Artillery shelling also targeted the towns of Touline and al-Sawana.

Earlier Sunday, two Syrians were killed in an Israeli strike on the Qalila-Deir Qanoun road.

Earlier this week, Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported 11 people killed and 36 wounded in Israeli raids targeting towns in the Nabatieh district.
