One Palestinian killed, another injured in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza

A Palestinian was killed and another injured on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA reported, citing local sources, that an Israeli drone targeted the Al-Qastal Towers area east of Deir al-Balah, killing one person and injuring another.

Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,608, with 172,445 others injured since October 2023.

Since the start of the offensive, the Gaza Strip has faced a collapse of its healthcare system following the destruction of hundreds of medical facilities, the shutdown of most hospitals, shortages of medicines, and restrictions on the entry of aid and medical supplies.
