Israeli airstrikes kill three in southern Lebanon, cause damage

Three people were killed and several others injured on Sunday in southern Lebanon following Israeli airstrikes, amid escalating violence in the region.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said strikes targeted multiple areas, including Haris, Siddiqin near the Jabal al-Botom junction, Maaliya and Jouya in the Tyre district. The town of Froun saw multiple strikes that caused casualties and injuries.
Israeli occupation forces have intensified attacks on infrastructure and residential areas, planting explosives and detonating buildings in the town of Shamaa, south of Tyre. The escalation follows an airstrike on Saturday that also killed three people in the Tyre district.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the death toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 has reached 2,659.
