Hezbollah ops. continue against IOF in southern Lebanon

Hezbollah announce a drone strike targeting a gathering of occupation soldiers in al-Bayada in response to "Israel's" ceasefire violations, while also releasing footage of a separate drone operation targeting the Balat site in southern Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced on Saturday that it targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers inside a house in the town of al-Bayada in the Tyre district with a swoop attack carried at 7:15 PM Friday.

In a second announced operation, the Resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in the town of Al-Bayyada at 10:30 am on Saturday using an attack drone, achieving a direct hit.

In its statement, the Islamic Resistance said the operation was carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to what it described as repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Resistance added that the operation also came in response to Israeli attacks targeting villages in southern Lebanon, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

Footage released of a separate drone operation

In a separate development, Hezbollah’s military media published footage on Saturday of an operation targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Balat site in southern Lebanon.

According to the group, the attack was carried out using a squadron of attack drones on April 30.

IOF troop groupings in South Lebanon under Hezbollah FPVs

On the same note, Hezbollah announced on Friday carrying out a series of operations targeting Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, beginning with a strike on a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the town of al-Bayyada at 10:45 a.m. using an FPV drone, reporting a confirmed hit.

In a second operation at 9:30 a.m., the group said it shelled a gathering of Israeli troops near the Moussa Abbas complex in the city of Bint Jbeil with artillery rounds.

Later, at 1:15 p.m., Hezbollah fighters targeted a military vehicle in al-Bayyada using an FPV drone, achieving a direct hit, before striking a Humvee in the town of al-Taybeh at 1:25 p.m. with another FPV, also reporting a direct hit.

Simultaneously, the group reported shelling an assembly of Israeli soldiers near a school in the town of Houla, also with artillery rounds.

Israeli officers warn of Hezbollah tactics in south Lebanon

In light of Hezbollah’s operations, the Israeli news website Walla reported that officers in the Israeli occupation forces have raised concerns over the situation in southern Lebanon, warning of growing risks as Hezbollah intensifies its use of guerrilla warfare tactics.

According to the report, Israeli officers cautioned that southern Lebanon could turn into a point of vulnerability, citing the absence of sustained daily operations and full operational freedom despite continued efforts to reinforce what is referred to as the “security belt”.
