Iranian Armed Forces Poised for Decisive Retaliation Against Any Acts of Aggression
On Friday, the IRGC released a statement marking ‘Iranian Army Day,’ underscoring the Army’s significant role in defending Iran amid the recent acts of aggression instigated by the United States and the Israeli regime.
The statement highlighted the thwarted attempts by adversaries to execute plans involving potential aggression against Iran, such as land and naval operations or schemes to commandeer Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf. This outcome was attributed to the Iranian Army’s exceptional combat readiness and operational stance, in conjunction with the coordinated efforts and synergy of the IRGC Ground Force.
The statement emphasized that the coordinated efforts among Iranian military forces serve as a definitive warning, indicating that any “reckless move” by adversaries will be countered with “decisive strikes” from Islamic fighters, resulting in humiliation, strategic defeat, and dishonor for the enemy.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) highlighted the enhancement of the Army’s air defense capabilities, noting its proficiency in intercepting and targeting American and Israeli projectiles and fighter jets. It also underscored the successful execution of destructive drone operations against adversary targets throughout the region. Furthermore, the IRGC emphasized the establishment of an impenetrable border security perimeter, along with surveillance and offensive maneuvers in the Sea of Oman, as clear demonstrations of the Army’s performance during the 40-day conflict.
The statement emphasized that the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are maintaining unity, coordination, and solidarity under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
