Hezbollah’s Resilient Resistance and Iran’s Backing Secure Lebanon Truce: Quds Force Leader

The commander of the IRGC Quds Force has stated that Hezbollah's unwavering resistance, bolstered by Iran's support, played a crucial role in facilitating the forthcoming ceasefire in Lebanon.

General Qa’ani stated that any potential ceasefire would be attributed to the unwavering resistance exhibited by Lebanon and the backing provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The commander of Iran’s IRGC Quds Force issued a stern warning to those attempting to undermine the Lebanese nation, asserting that Hezbollah’s steadfast resistance against both the Zionist regime and its American allies has demonstrated the impossibility of such humiliation.

He emphasized that attempts to humiliate the dignified people of Lebanon would be futile, as Hezbollah’s resistance demonstrates the impossibility of such efforts.

The message emphasizes Iran’s ongoing support for the Axis of Resistance, asserting that the ceasefire, scheduled to commence at midnight, marks a strategic triumph for Hezbollah and Lebanon, secured through perseverance and sacrifice.

Trump announced a ceasefire during an address at the White House on Thursday, stating that the truce would be implemented from midnight Lebanon time.

A Lebanese lawmaker affiliated with the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc has confirmed that a ceasefire is set to commence on Thursday night. The agreement has been attributed to successful diplomatic efforts by Iran.

Lebanese parliament member Hassan Fadlallah has stated that Iranian authorities are set to closely monitor the United States’ adherence to its obligations under the agreement. He further emphasized that the renewal of negotiations between Iran and the US is dependent on the fulfillment of these commitments.

Fadlallah emphasized that Hezbollah’s commitment to the ceasefire is contingent upon a total cessation of hostile actions by the adversary against the Lebanese population.

Mere hours following the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, concluding 40 days of hostilities, Israel reportedly breached the truce last Wednesday by initiating devastating attacks on civilian regions in Lebanon.

The halting of hostilities across all regions, including in Lebanon, was among the crucial elements of Iran’s 10-point proposal, which the United States initially agreed to.

In retaliation, Hezbollah has launched a series of strikes, targeting various Israeli military and strategic sites.
