Iran’s Military Chief Warns of ‘israel’s’ Alleged Plans to Attack Regional Energy Infrastructure

Iran's primary operational command unit has issued a warning regarding an "evil intent" allegedly harbored by the Israeli regime. This strategy is purportedly aimed at targeting regional energy infrastructure with the goal of falsely implicating the Islamic Republic and causing rifts in the region.

On Thursday, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the premier operational command unit of Iran tasked with coordinating endeavors between the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), issued a warning.

Iran’s Armed Forces have reiterated their stance, with Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari stating that they intend to target infrastructure linked to both the United States and Israel. According to Zolfaqari, Iran will openly take responsibility for such actions.

Reports suggest that the Israeli government is allegedly considering strikes on energy infrastructure within the region, which may involve targeting the Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia.

The regime’s historical record of aggressive behavior underpins its “malicious intent” to execute such attacks and wrongfully accuse the Islamic Republic, with the aim of sowing discord among regional nations, he concluded.

The remarks were made in the context of the Iranian Armed Forces’ continued Operation True Promise 4, launched in retaliation to recent unprovoked Israeli-American aggression against Iran.

Retaliatory actions have targeted sensitive and strategic sites within the occupied territories and have also extended to American bases across the region.

In the wake of the retaliation, multiple explosions have been reported at various facilities located along the littoral states of the Persian Gulf. The Islamic Republic has firmly denied any involvement in these incidents.

Earlier this month, Tucker Carlson, a prominent American journalist and media personality, reported that authorities in Qatar and Saudi Arabia have taken into custody individuals linked to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, who were allegedly planning bomb attacks.

Tucker Carlson characterized the occurrences as elements of a wider campaign aimed at destabilizing nations in the Persian Gulf region.
