True Promise 4: IRGC launches new waves of missiles at Israeli, American targets

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched the third, fourth and fifth waves of its retaliatory military operation late on Saturday by launching a barrage of missiles at the Israeli-occupied territories.
In a statement at around 11:45 am local time, the IRGC public relations division said the third and fourth waves of Operation True Promise 4 were launched against the extensive military targets of the US and the Zionist regime.
It said the operation was carried out with missiles more advanced than those used in Operation True Promise 4 during the 12-day war in June last year, with greater precision and ferocity.
The statement added that the Israeli army’s naval base in Haifa Port, the regime’s warship dock in Haifa, the Ramat David Air Base, the regime’s ministry of war in the Hakeryat area, the Beit Shams military-industrial complex, and the Ishtod military-industrial complex were among the targets during the latest third and fourth waves.
Following the announcement, sirens went off throughout the northern and central parts of the occupied territories, as reported in the Israeli media.
The Israeli regime’s Channel 12 reported that a series of high-intensity blasts rang out across the occupied territories, while footage circulated online displayed columns of smoke rising in Tel Aviv, implying a direct and powerful impact.
The third and fourth waves were followed by the fifth wave of Operation True Promise 4.
In this phase of the operation in the Indian Ocean, American vessel MSP, tasked with transporting ammunition for American ships, was struck by four drones while anchored at Jebel Ali port, according to a statement by the IRGC’s public relations department.
After sustaining heavy damage and successive explosions during the latest wave of the operation, the vessel has been completely put out of service, it added.
The American naval base in the Abdullah Mubarak area of Kuwait was also hit by four ballistic missiles and twelve drones. All main infrastructure was destroyed, and a large number of American forces were killed and wounded, the statement noted.
Additionally, an MST-class combat support ship, assigned as a fuel tanker supplying American vessels in the Indian Ocean region, was struck by Iranian Qadr-380 missiles.
“The fighters of the IRGC Navy, alongside the warriors of the aerial front, will keep the gates of hell open to enemy units,” the statement noted.
The latest Israeli-American aggression was launched early on Saturday, targeting mostly civilian areas in multiple cities across the country, including Tehran.
According to Iran’s Red Crescent Society, more than 200 people have been killed in the enemy strikes so far, including more than 100 children, who were killed in an attack on an elementary school in the southern province of Hormozgan.
In response, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has so far launched four large-scale waves of retaliatory strikes against military targets across the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv, Haifa and other cities, forcing settlers to slip underground.
According to reports, senior regime officials, including Benjamin Netanyahu, have been hiding in underground bunkers.
IRGC also targeted American bases in the West Asia region, including the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, as well as other prominent bases in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, for their involvement in the aggression against the Islamic Republic.
The aggression again came in the middle of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, mediated by the Omani government, with the latest round held in Geneva on Thursday, which ended with both sides noting significant progress.
Earlier, Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, vowed that the country would make the Israeli regime and the United States regret their deadly acts of aggression on Saturday.
“We will make the Zionist criminals and the vile Americans regret their actions,” Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), wrote.
“The brave soldiers and the great nation of Iran will deliver an unforgettable lesson to the hellish oppressors of the international order.”
In an interview with an American broadcaster, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who was leading the Iranian negotiating team, said the Islamic Republic is a “great nation with a magnificent civilization” that has endured for thousands of years.
“We know how to defend ourselves and we will survive,” he told the US news channel, adding that the moment the aggression stops, Iran will also stop defending itself.
“We could not simply sit back and watch,” Iran’s foreign minister asserted.
Iran had previously warned the Persian Gulf countries not to allow their soil to be used in any act of aggression against the country.
