Israeli military vehicles conduct new incursion into Quneitra countryside – Updated

In a continuation of its aggressive practices, Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young Syrian man on Wednesday while he was tending his sheep west of Bariqa village in the southern countryside of Quneitra southwestern Syria.
SANA’s correspondent reported that an Israeli force conducted an illegal incursion into the area, where they apprehended the young man and forcibly took him into occupied territory. The occupation troops also seized a number of sheep belonging to the civilian, further targeting the livelihoods of the local population.
This abduction follows an earlier incursion on the same day, during which three Israeli military vehicles penetrated the Abu Madharah farm in the southern countryside before withdrawing. These events also follow a documented breach on Monday in the town of Jubata al-Khashab in northern Quneitra.
Israel continues its systematic escalations and blatant violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria. These hostile actions include aggressive raids, arbitrary arrests of citizens, and the illegal leveling of agricultural lands, all of which aim to destabilize the region.
The Syrian Arab Republic consistently demands the immediate withdrawal of occupation forces from its territories. The state reaffirms that all measures taken by the Israeli occupation in southern Syria are null, void, and carry no legal weight under international law. Syria further calls upon the international community to uphold its responsibilities, deter these expansionist practices, and compel the Israeli occupation to implement a full withdrawal from the Syrian territory.
