Zionist Military Backs Soldier’s Overt ‘Rape’ Comment Despite Worldwide Backlash

Facing international criticism, the Israeli defense forces have stood by one of their soldiers following the release of a video in which the soldier is seen claiming involvement in the killing of women and children and committing acts of sexual violence against Palestinians in Gaza.

Israeli military authorities reported that the interview was conducted without authorization, leading to a reprimand for the soldier involved. In response, the military police have initiated an internal investigation into the matter.

In video footage captured during a live session with American content creator Jeff Davidson, a soldier identified himself as part of the Israeli military forces currently active within Gaza. He gestured toward the surrounding landscape, detailing extensive devastation in the area.

A soldier reportedly commented, “You wanna see Gaza? Do not be surprised, there is no house here. Flat, all flat.” When questioned whether they were responsible for the destruction, the soldier confirmed, “Oh yeah.” The soldier further acknowledged having killed women and children, and disturbingly added, “And by the way, do not worry…we rape them too.”

A spokesperson for the Israeli military reported that commanders had issued a reprimand and that military police had launched an investigation, emphasizing that the video was “unauthorized” and that the remarks were intended humorously.

The reaction followed a surge in the video’s circulation on social media, which amplified global condemnation of Israeli actions in Gaza.

In the course of the exchange, the soldier attempted to rationalize the targeting of children by presenting an image depicting a child with a weapon. He asserted that this image was discovered in a home that had been bombed.

Davidson countered the claim, emphasizing that children defending themselves against an invading force do not justify the act of killing and attributed the responsibility to the continued occupation of Gaza.

Human rights organizations have referred to the video as additional evidence of crimes against humanity amid the genocide in Gaza.

Earlier testimonies and reports have outlined instances of sexual violence within Israeli detention facilities, including widely disseminated footage from the Sde Teiman location depicting Israeli personnel engaging in the sexual assault of a Palestinian detainee.

The release of the video has intensified demands for independent international inquiries into the treatment of Palestinians in the Gaza region.

In a report presented to the United Nations Human Rights Council on March 13, 2025, the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory has determined that Israeli military forces engaged in sexual, reproductive, and other forms of gender-based violence. These acts included forced public stripping, threats of rape, sexual assaults, and additional abuses during operations in Gaza and the occupied territories, initiated since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime commenced its military campaign in Gaza.

According to the commission, these actions constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, highlighting that such acts of violence have been employed with the intent to “destabilize, dominate, oppress, and destroy the Palestinian population.”

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 72,000 Palestinians and injured more than 172,000, with the majority of the casualties being women and children.
