Iran Declares Missile Capabilities Have Humbled Zionist Regime, Says Top Security Official
Iran's chief security official has praised the nation's missile capabilities as a significant factor in curbing the regional aspirations of Israel. The official emphasized Iran's deterrence power, firmly rejecting the idea of including its defensive capabilities in indirect negotiations with the United States.

During a visit to Muscat, the capital of Oman, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, commented on regional dynamics. Speaking on Tuesday, Larijani stated, “The Zionist regime aimed for regional control, but Iranian missiles have curtailed its ambitions.”
The official was alluding to numerous rounds of decisive and effective counterattacks carried out by the Islamic Republic against the Zionist entity.
In the latest wave of strikes, the nation launched hundreds of missiles, comprising both ballistic and hypersonic types, targeting the regime’s sensitive and strategic locations amid an Israeli-American conflict.
Larijani underscored that diplomatic discussions with the United States are strictly centered on the nuclear subject, asserting that no other topics have been addressed. He cautioned that introducing further demands could result in the collapse of the negotiations.
He indicated that if the negotiations advance within a reasonable framework, there is a chance for success.
Larijani recently visited Muscat following the conclusion of the latest round of indirect nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington, which were hosted by the Omani capital.
Iran’s chief negotiator, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, characterized the discussions as a “good start” and emphasized that the progress of the talks hinges on the American side refraining from threats and exerting pressure.
**Economic Talks Underway with Oman**
During his visit, Larijani stated that Iran and Oman have examined prospects for economic collaboration. “We engaged in a series of discussions on economic issues, encompassing investment and the resolution of bilateral matters,” he reported.
An official highlighted that Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman has articulated “explicit and supportive stances” advocating for the enhancement of economic collaboration between the nations.
