Top General Warns: Iranian Armed Forces Poised for Retaliation, Declares ‘No American Will Be Safe’

Iran's leading military commander has issued a warning, stating that any misjudgment by the Islamic Republic’s adversaries would provoke a decisive reaction. He asserted that the nation is thoroughly equipped for any potential confrontation and retaliation.

On Monday, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, asserted the military’s readiness to counter threats with determination. “Our focus is solely on victory. We have no fear of the enemy’s apparent strength, and we are fully prepared for confrontation, ready to deliver a decisive response,” he declared.

The Iranian populace has consistently resisted the assertive and combative approach of the United States, leading to multiple setbacks for the latter, particularly evident in the recent “complex, multidimensional, and terrorist war,” which undermined adversarial strategies.

The official addressed the US and Israeli-supported riots that attempted to steer economic protests towards unrest, but encountered resistance from Iranian intelligence and security forces.

Over the past 47 years, reflecting on the period since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, it was asserted that Iranians have consistently demonstrated that the nation “cannot be easily overpowered.” The speaker cautioned that any “persistent, imprudent opponent who fails to heed lessons will eventually face downfall.”

**Caution Advised Due to Potential Repercussions and Regional Impact**

Mousavi stated that individuals who had previously advanced the notion of a “weak Iran” are now faced with the choice of either withdrawing their assertions or confronting the regional demonstration of Iran’s strength.

In a statement highlighting past resistance against foreign aggression, he referenced Iran’s resilience during an eight-year conflict that began in 1980. He further mentioned the 12-day conflict imposed on the nation by Tel Aviv and Washington last June, claiming that Iranians thwarted a 20-year plan orchestrated by the United States and the Zionist regime, rendering it ineffective and achieving victory over them.

Mousavi characterized the latest incident involving the unrest as a near-attempted coup orchestrated by what he termed a “Daesh-like American-Zionist axis,” asserting the country’s firm determination to seek retribution.

A statement from Iran warns that even a minor error could prompt decisive action, showcasing a more formidable Iran. The message underscores that, in such an event, Americans would find themselves in peril, with the region potentially igniting instability that would impact the United States and its allies.

In the event of conflict, he asserted, the “women and men of the regional resistance” are prepared to expel foreign forces from the area.

A high-ranking military official has dismissed the notion of a potential naval blockade against the nation, emphasizing that such discussions fail to consider the fundamental aspects of geography and geopolitics. He characterized the Islamic Republic as a “powerful and vast” entity, asserting that it is beyond the reach of such encirclement efforts.

Defense doctrine has undergone a comprehensive review and revision.

In response to the recent 12-day conflict and ongoing actions attributed to American-Zionist influences, the nation has revised its defense strategy. This revision involves transitioning to an offensive stance predicated on “a swift and sustained operational approach” complemented by “asymmetric and decisive military strategies.”

Within this framework, Mousavi emphasized that Iran’s measures would be “swift, definitive, and beyond US expectations.”

**Iran’s Intelligence Command Sees Expansion**

In a separate communication, a senior commander conveyed a message to Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, expressing assurance that Iran would bolster its command over the activities of foreign espionage services, both overt and covert. The message also emphasized the commitment to continue targeting terrorist organizations and their operatives.

Mousavi commended the ministry’s “sincere” dedication to the mission, noting that the intelligence community’s coordination and professionalism had thwarted intricate enemy schemes, particularly during foreign-supported unrest, leaving opponents defeated, exposed, and humiliated.
