Advisor Warns of Intensified Retaliatory Strikes Into Occupied Areas

A senior advisor to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, has issued a warning that hostile actions against the Islamic Republic may trigger a resolute response, potentially involving strikes deep within the occupied territories.

Ali Shamkhani, who formerly held the position of secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, emphasized in an interview with al-Mayadeen, as reported by the Lebanese network on Friday, that the Islamic Republic has comprehensive surveillance over enemy operational strategies. He asserted that Iran is ready for expanded and sophisticated scenarios that extend beyond maritime spheres.

Iran has emphasized that its top priority is maintaining a high level of preparedness to counter any threats. An advisor issued a strong warning, indicating that any action perceived as hostile by adversaries will be met with a response that is proportional, effective, and intended to deter further aggression.

An official has warned that Iran’s confrontational strategies are not confined to maritime regions, indicating that plans have been developed for broader and more sophisticated scenarios.

Shamkhani emphasized that conflicts in the West Asia region seldom remain localized, warning that “any spark can swiftly escalate into a widespread conflagration beyond the control of those who initially planned it.”

He emphasized that the broadening of the conflict to multiple regions should be a collective concern for all involved parties.

Responding to the heightened presence of foreign military forces in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, Shamkhani emphasized that their deployment does not inherently signify superiority. He stated, “This region is home to Iran,” highlighting that the Islamic Republic possesses a more profound comprehension of its geography, capabilities, and defensive strategies compared to any outside force, and has tailored its military doctrine to these insights.

An advisor from the Islamic Republic disclosed that they have uncovered the operational plans of adversaries and are keeping close surveillance on them. The advisor cautioned that the nation is prepared to target key strategic points at a moment deemed appropriate. He emphasized that should the need arise, the Islamic Republic will employ more decisive and impactful measures to protect its national security and territorial sovereignty. He also underscored that the accountability for any repercussions would rest on those who believe they can undermine the resolve of the Iranian populace through military means.

Previously, Shamkhani emphasized that any military operation by the United States targeting the Islamic Republic, irrespective of its magnitude or justification, would be regarded as the commencement of war and would elicit an immediate counteraction. He rejected the idea of a “limited strike.”

The comments emerged during a period of increased tensions, following an earlier initiative led by the United States and Israel, aiming to instigate new aggression against Iran. This move was justified by claims of Iran “confronting” economic protesters.

In a coordinated effort, elements supported by Washington and Tel Aviv attempted to steer protests towards violent unrest. However, this plan was quickly thwarted by Iranian intelligence and security forces, who managed to detain the ringleaders and confiscate weapon caches.

Meanwhile, the United States has undertaken a substantial regional military buildup in response to repeated threats from Trump regarding potential action against the Islamic Republic.

Iranian authorities have consistently emphasized their dedication to tackling internal economic issues, while also asserting their readiness to respond firmly to any threats posed to the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
