IRGC Intelligence Reports Plot by 10 Foreign Spy Agencies to Destabilize Iran

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Intelligence Organization has reportedly thwarted a terrorist scheme allegedly orchestrated by intelligence agencies from ten foreign nations. The operation was purportedly designed to incite chaos and pose a threat to Iran's national identity.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on Monday, asserting that the recent wave of terrorist incidents was orchestrated as part of a significant plot by the United States and Israel to destabilize Iran’s geographic and national integrity.

“The enemy’s command center was established promptly following the 12-day conflict, involving the collaboration of ten adversarial intelligence agencies,” it stated.

The IRGC’s intelligence division reported that the scheme was intended to incite domestic unrest in conjunction with foreign intervention, creating an existential threat to the Islamic Republic.

The initiative was thwarted due to the vigilance of Iranian security forces and the cooperation of the public, according to reports.

In a recent announcement, the IRGC Intelligence Organization reported the arrest of 735 individuals connected to anti-security networks. Additionally, 11,000 individuals deemed vulnerable were summoned. Authorities also seized 743 unauthorized firearms and identified 46 individuals associated with foreign services.

Reports indicate that foreign political and security officials allegedly played a direct role in aiding adversarial activities, which encompass inciting violence and allowing terrorists to exploit public gatherings. These actions also included using social media platforms to provoke unrest and deploying organized groups and criminals in a scheme to increase casualties within both civilian and security personnel ranks.

In an official statement, the IRGC intelligence division announced its intentions to infiltrate the communication networks of those instigating unrest, exert control over border terrorist organizations, utilize misled individuals for counter-infiltration operations, and persist in identifying and firmly addressing the networks responsible for inciting disturbances.

Riots with foreign involvement intensified in Iran starting January 8 and persisted for several days. These disturbances followed peaceful demonstrations in the country’s bazaars and markets, where traders demanded governmental intervention to address the depreciation of the Iranian rial.

The violence, openly encouraged by the Israeli regime and Trump, led to significant damage to both public and private property. There was extensive destruction of shops, government institutions, public service facilities, and the tragic loss of thousands of civilian lives, including women, children, and security forces.

Iranian officials have confirmed the direct involvement of United States and Israeli intelligence agencies in recent unrest, alleging the provision of financial backing, training, and media assistance to rioters and armed militants operating in the streets.

Iran’s Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs subsequently announced that a total of 3,117 individuals lost their lives amid the unrest. This number includes 2,427 civilians and security forces, with the organization highlighting that numerous innocent lives were taken by orchestrated terrorist groups.
