Iran Initiates Legal Proceedings Against U.S., ‘israel’ in International Tribunals Citing Terrorism Support Accusations
Iran has announced that it has lodged legal and criminal complaints in international venues against the United States, Israel, and various terrorist organizations. The charges pertain to the alleged support and financing of activities aimed at undermining Iran's national security.

The defendants are accused of engaging in destabilizing actions and sabotage efforts intended to undermine national security.
Reports indicate that riots allegedly driven by foreign entities intensified in Iran on January 8 and persisted for several days. These disturbances followed initially peaceful demonstrations in Iranian bazaars and markets, where traders urged the government to take action to address the declining value of the Iranian rial.
The violence, which was openly encouraged by the Israeli regime and Trump, led to significant devastation across both public and private sectors. This included widespread destruction of shops, government institutions, public service facilities, and resulted in the loss of thousands of civilian lives, among them women and children, in addition to members of the security forces.
Iranian officials have verified claims that United States and Israeli intelligence services were actively involved in supporting unrest, offering financial resources, training, and media assistance to rioters and armed militants operating in the streets.
Iran’s Judiciary Chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i, has accused the United States and Israel of being the primary instigators of the recent violent riots. He emphasized that these nations had a direct and overt involvement in the unrest, as opposed to merely providing indirect support.
In a recent meeting to review the judicial proceedings related to participants in the recent unrest, it was stated that during the disturbances, “criminal America” and the “Zionist regime” allegedly extended financial, military, and training assistance to terrorists and rioters. It was further suggested that these developments might be viewed as a continuation of the 12-day conflict.
Mohseni Eje’i emphasized that the perpetrators involved in street and public area attacks, which targeted both civilians and security forces with weapons and resulted in significant criminal activities, were individuals acting with the aim of executing conspiracies orchestrated by the United States and Israel within Iranian borders.
He emphasized that there will be no tolerance for individuals implicated in the actions resulting in harm to security personnel and civilians.
The head of the Judiciary underscored the importance of ensuring that those involved in the unrest are held accountable and are required to compensate for any damage inflicted on both public and private property.
“Individuals connected to the riots, in roles such as planners, instigators, provocateurs, or direct participants, must not only face legal consequences but also be responsible for compensating the damages caused to public and private property,” he stated.
