Senior Commander Issues Strong Warning to Trump Over Remarks on Leadership

A senior Iranian military commander has issued a stern warning to Trump in response to his recent remarks directed at the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, serving as the deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, issued statements on Wednesday in response to Trump’s recent comments advocating for the termination of Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership.

In response to the US leader’s recent rhetoric and repeated verbal threats directed at the Islamic Republic, a high-ranking Iranian commander firmly stated, “Trump was dead wrong,” mirroring the robust reactions already voiced by top Iranian officials.

On Tuesday, General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces, issued a stern warning, stating that any aggression aimed at the Leader would trigger a formidable military response. “We do not place considerable importance on Trump’s noise,” the official remarked.

Earlier, Masoud Pezeshkian cautioned that any assault on Ayatollah Khamenei would be tantamount to inciting a “full-fledged war” with Iran.

In late December, Iran experienced intermittent economic protests, followed by allegations from Trump suggesting that Washington might launch new military actions against the Islamic Republic if Tehran were to take action against the demonstrators.

In January, Iranian intelligence verified that numerous riotous elements had infiltrated protests in a maneuver reportedly supported and coordinated with the espionage agencies of the United States and the Israeli regime.

Iranian intelligence and security personnel took decisive action, effectively addressing the situation by apprehending key terror ringleaders and confiscating significant stockpiles of weapons, swiftly restoring peace across the country.

Commenting on the Islamic Republic’s stance towards the United States and the Zionist regime, Sayyari stated, “Attempts were made through various means to undermine the Islamic Republic, but the people’s monumental actions on January 12 and their discernment thwarted the adversaries’ schemes against the nation’s Islamic framework and its Revolution.”

The commander alluded to the day when millions of citizens flooded the streets throughout the Islamic Republic, expressing unwavering support for their Leader and pledging to uphold the nation’s security and sovereignty amid perceived threats from Washington and Tel Aviv.

Sayyari attributed the heightened capabilities of Iran’s Armed Forces to developments following their imposed conflict last June. He assured that the nation is consistently improving and gaining strength, stating, “Rest assured that we are becoming better and stronger than before with each passing day.”
