IRGC Chief Issues Stern Warning to US and ‘israel’ Against Potential Missteps
The top commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning to adversaries about the risks of miscalculation, highlighting that his forces are poised and ready to act on directives from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

In a recent statement on Thursday, Major General Mohammad Pakpour issued a stern warning to adversaries, specifically targeting the United States and what he described as the “fake and racist Zionist regime.” He urged these entities to heed lessons from historical conflicts, particularly referencing the 12-day war in June, to prevent any potential miscalculations.
He warned that any miscalculation on their part would result in a fate that is significantly more painful and regret-inducing.
He highlighted that the IRGC forces have significantly strengthened the nation’s defensive capabilities and security in response to threats posed by American-Zionist hostility and malevolent actions.
In late December, Iran experienced a series of economic protests that were soon overtaken by demonstrators allegedly influenced by American and Israeli authorities, with reported support from intelligence operatives deployed in the region.
Trump openly and publicly incited violence by urging armed demonstrators to seize control of state institutions and threatening military action against Iran if met with resistance.
In an opinion article featured in The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Trump’s threats towards Iran have acted as a direct catalyst for terrorist groups, encouraging them to adopt a strategy focused on “maximum bloodshed” with the aim of drawing the United States into another conflict on behalf of Israel.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Iran’s Security Council reported that 2,427 individuals, comprising both innocent civilians and security forces, were killed in what it described as a “full-scale atrocity” allegedly orchestrated by the United States and the Israeli regime.
According to the statement, an additional 690 individuals lost their lives during the riots, raising the overall death toll to 3,117.
