Supreme Leader Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei Praises Mass Rallies Across the Nation as Defiance Against Enemy Schemes

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has commended the widespread demonstrations in favor of the Islamic Republic, describing the significant participation as a "historic" event. He asserted that the large gatherings effectively thwarted efforts by adversaries attempting to unsettle the nation by leveraging domestic actors.

On Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the Iranian nation through a message, coinciding with nationwide demonstrations. The participants in these rallies expressed condemnation of riots reportedly tied to foreign influences and reiterated their backing of the Islamic Republic.

In a proclamation, it was declared that the Iranian people had taken significant action, creating a day of historical importance. The statement praised widespread participation, emphasizing the steadfast determination that successfully thwarted the plans devised by external adversaries and their domestic collaborators.

The Leader stated that the rallies demonstrated the nation’s “resolve and identity” to adversaries and served as a caution to U.S. officials to halt their deception and cease depending on untrustworthy mercenaries.

Ayatollah Khamenei characterized the Iranian populace as resilient, formidable, and perceptive, emphasizing their continued presence and alertness during periods of crisis.

Last week’s peaceful demonstrations against economic difficulties devolved into violent riots, intensifying due to statements from US and Israeli leaders. Armed factions engaged in the destruction of public property, resulting in casualties among both civilians and security personnel.

Security and judicial authorities report that they have successfully dismantled several armed groups and apprehended operatives with foreign ties amid the ongoing unrest.

Ayatollah Khamenei declared on Friday that the Islamic Republic remains resolute against what he termed “vandals” and asserted that the nation will not tolerate individuals serving as proxies for foreign interests.
