Iranian Security Authority Says US, ‘israel’ Inciting Unrest to Destabilize Nation
Iran's Supreme National Security Council has announced that the recent disturbances were orchestrated by Israel and the United States as part of a continued effort to destabilize the nation.

In a statement released on Friday, the council accused Israel of persisting in its “oppression against Iranians” even after the 12-day conflict in June. The statement alleged that Israel has continued its “hybrid warfare,” adapting its methods but maintaining its adversarial stance against Iran’s resolute nation.
The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has stated that the recent incidents, which originated from demonstrations over economic volatility, have been escalated into situations of unrest under the influence and orchestration of Israel.
Recent statements by Trump suggest a coordinated effort between these two regimes aimed at destabilizing the lives of the Iranian people, according to sources.
Iranian authorities have consistently emphasized a distinction between peaceful demonstrations and acts of violence. The council highlighted that individuals genuinely protesting economic conditions would refrain from exacerbating the situation through further economic disruption or contributing to instability amidst current challenges.
In response to recent incidents involving the burning of the Iranian flag and attacks on statues of General Qassem Soleimani, a statement was issued condemning these actions. It emphasized that no honorable individual would permit national symbols like the flag to be desecrated, especially by setting them on fire. The statement further asserted that no dignified Iranian would tolerate insults to the statue of Haj Qassem Soleimani, the emblem of national resistance, let alone its destruction.
The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) stated that the Iranian people have previously showcased their resilience during the 12-day conflict, where “national solidarity compelled the adversary into a strategic setback.” The council emphasized that this same unity would now render any sabotage tactics by external forces ineffective.
The council articulated that the deployment of security and law enforcement personnel is intended to avert disorder and uphold public safety. It emphasized that these forces align with the steadfast and resilient populace to counteract what they describe as a destabilization scheme orchestrated by Israel and its principal ally, the United States.
The warning stated that security forces and the judiciary would exhibit zero tolerance towards any acts of sabotage.
The comments align with previous statements from Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who asserted that the Islamic Republic “will not concede to vandals” and will not tolerate individuals acting as agents for foreign interests.
On Friday, he also called for solidarity, stating that “a united nation overcomes any enemy,” while dismissing U.S. assertions of backing the Iranian populace.
The unrest, persisting for several days, has been characterized by officials as an exploitation by rioters of public anxiety over escalating living expenses and the significant devaluation of the rial to foment violence.
Iranian authorities have recognized the validity of peaceful economic complaints and have pledged to address them. They attribute significant portions of the economic hardship to unilateral US sanctions, specifically those aimed at Iran’s central bank and oil exports.
Security and judicial authorities report the successful dismantling of multiple armed terror cells and the arrest of operatives linked to foreign entities, amidst ongoing unrest that has resulted in the deaths of several law enforcement officers.
Iranian authorities have accused American and Israeli figures of openly inciting acts of violence, citing Trump’s repeated warnings that the United States might launch an attack on Iran should “peaceful protesters” face harm. Additionally, statements from former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, hinting at Mossad’s involvement and separatist schemes, have been highlighted as part of these provocations.
