Imam Ayatollah Khamenei Declares US-israeli Military Moves Overpowered by Iranian Youth
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opprrssed, has asserted that the aggressive actions of the US military and its allies in the region have been thwarted by the initiative, bravery, and selflessness of the young people of Islamic Iran.
In a communication to the 59th annual gathering of the Union of Islamic Student Associations in Europe on Saturday, the Iranian Leader underscored the significant contribution of Iranian youth in thwarting a substantial military assault by the United States and its “disgraceful appendage” in the region, alluding to the Israeli regime.
Addressing the youth, the speaker emphasized that this year, their nation, fortified by faith, unity, and self-confidence, has enhanced its credibility and influence globally. He noted that the formidable challenge posed by the US military and its regional allies was overcome through the initiative, bravery, and sacrifice of the young people of Islamic Iran.
He stated that the Iranian nation, through its own capabilities and guided by faith and principled actions, has demonstrated the ability to resist corrupt and oppressive forces, and is now more vocally championing Islamic values on a global scale.
He emphasized that the profound grief resulting from the loss of numerous scientists, military leaders, and civilians has neither deterred nor will it deter the resolute Iranian youth. He highlighted that the families of these martyrs are leading the charge in this movement.
Ayatollah Khamenei has asserted that the root cause of the unrest among corrupt and oppressive powers is not Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Instead, he pointed to the nation’s opposition to the inequitable global order and its efforts to create a just national and international framework as the primary reasons for the discord.
In an address to students studying overseas, he encouraged them to acknowledge their potential, place their faith in God, and steer student organizations toward this significant endeavor.
On June 13, Israel initiated a surprise military operation against Iran, resulting in the targeted killing of several high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
Over a week after initial developments, the United States escalated involvement in the conflict by launching airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities. This action is seen as a significant breach of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the stipulations of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The Iranian Armed Forces launched an offensive targeting strategic locations across the occupied territories, as well as the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, recognized as the largest U.S. military installation in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran effectively executed retaliatory operations against both Israel and the United States, successfully bringing a halt to the unlawful attacks.
