Zionist Airstrike in Southern Lebanon Leaves 4 Dead, 3 Injured Amid Ongoing Ceasefire Breach: Report
Zionist airstrike in southern Lebanon has resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injured three others. This incident takes place against the backdrop of Tel Aviv's continued breaches of a 2024 ceasefire agreement, marking another escalation in the ongoing conflict.

An Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon has resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injured three others, as Tel Aviv continues its lethal operations in the region, contravening the 2024 ceasefire agreement.
Casualties occurred on Saturday when an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the village of Kafr Rumman, according to reports from the country’s al-Mayadeen television network.
Earlier in the day, an Israeli drone conducted an airstrike on the nearby town of Kafr Sir, the report stated.
In the aftermath of an Israeli ground incursion into southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh province three days earlier, military strikes have been reported. The operation resulted in the death of one civilian. The events unfolded over the weekend, drawing attention to the region’s ongoing tensions.
In an incident reported on Thursday, local media sources detailed that an Israeli military convoy, comprised of multiple jeeps, breached the border town of Blida located in the Marjayoun district. The convoy reportedly entered and conducted operations within the town’s temporary municipal building.
The Blida municipality subsequently confirmed that an employee named Ibrahim Salameh, who had been inside the premises overnight, was killed by the forces during the incursion.
The lethal hostilities have emerged in the context of the regime’s ongoing consecutive violations of the ceasefire agreement established on November 27, 2024.
The agreement was reached after a series of concerted operations conducted by Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement targeting key strategic sites within the occupied Palestinian territories.
The initiatives aimed to rally backing for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who were facing what they described as genocidal actions by the regime, while also serving as retaliation against Israeli occupation and its significantly escalated aggression following the commencement of solidarity strikes.
In response to the regime’s breach of the agreement on Friday, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned Tel Aviv for escalating airstrikes instead of engaging with Beirut’s proposal for negotiations.
On Saturday, The Cradle, an online news magazine based in Lebanon, reported that a political source indicated the Israeli military is likely to advise the regime’s officials to authorize a new large-scale military operation targeting Lebanon.
According to the source, the military aims to conduct an operation to weaken Hezbollah, which has reestablished its strength after the recent escalation with Israel.
The regime has been exerting significant pressure on Lebanon, leveraging its key ally, the United States, to push for the disarmament of the movement.
Hezbollah, known for its resistance in the significant conflicts with Israel in 2000 and 2006, has firmly dismissed the possibility.
In recent remarks, Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of the movement, emphasized that Lebanon’s strength derives from its resistance. He pointed out that the United States has persistently exerted pressure on Lebanon, aiming to strip the nation of its “strength, freedom, and independence” to further the interests of the regime.
He further cautioned that Washington could not be regarded as a neutral mediator in negotiations between Lebanon and the regime, citing its continued silence on numerous Israeli breaches of the ceasefire.
