Tehran and Sanaa Officials Hold Talks on Yemeni Peace Plan

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, and Mohammed Abdul Salam, spokesperson for the Ansarullah Resistance Movement, convened to deliberate on a peace roadmap for Yemen.

Two officials convened in Muscat, the capital of Oman, to engage in discussions focusing on bilateral relations and matters of shared interest.

Abdul Salam, leader of the National Salvation Government’s negotiating team in Yemen, has presented a detailed report outlining the latest developments on the ground in Yemen. The report highlights the unity and solidarity among the citizens of the nation.

He conveyed gratitude for Iran’s political and moral backing provided to Yemen’s government and citizens amid external hostilities.

In his remarks, Takht Ravanchi lauded the steadfastness and principled approach of the Yemeni population, emphasizing their backing of the Palestinian cause.

He characterized Yemen’s determined resistance against the unlawful and aggressive actions of the Zionist regime as a historic and dignified stance.

The two parties continued to exchange perspectives on the current political developments and consultations with various stakeholders concerning the execution of the Yemen peace roadmap.
