Zionist Forces Conduct Dawn Raid in Blida, Resulting in Execution of Municipal Employee
Zionist military units, comprising multiple jeeps, reportedly advanced into southern Lebanese territory ...

An Israeli military contingent, comprising multiple jeeps, entered the southern Lebanese border town of Blida early Thursday morning. Reports from Al Manar’s correspondent in southern Lebanon indicate that the force breached the temporary municipal building in Blida, with the operation supported by surveillance drones, and gunfire was reportedly heard during the incursion.
Blida municipality later confirmed a tragic incident: Ibrahim Salameh, one of its employees who had been spending the night inside the building, was killed by Israeli occupation forces. Authorities reported that Salameh was shot and killed while he was asleep.
The incursion prompted the rapid deployment of Lebanese Army units to the region. Once the Israeli occupation forces withdrew after a two-hour presence, Lebanese military reinforcements swiftly arrived to secure the area surrounding the municipal building.
Prior to their withdrawal, Israeli forces issued a warning via the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), instructing the evacuation of the area. It has been confirmed that UNIFIL personnel did not enter Blida during or following the aggressive maneuver.
In an apparent escalation of tensions, the southern town of Al-Adaysah witnessed an incident today where Israeli forces allegedly rigged a building with explosives, leading to its complete destruction.
This military incursion is the most recent in a pattern of ongoing infringements on Lebanese sovereignty by Israeli forces, expanding from the southern regions to also encompass the Bekaa Valley and the southern suburbs of Beirut. Such actions constitute persistent violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024.
