Iraq’s Chief of Security Visits Iran for Diplomatic Discussions

Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassem al-Araji led a high-level political and security delegation to Tehran, the capital of Iran, on Monday.

Iraq’s chief security representative, having journeyed to Tehran at the behest of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council led by Ali Larijani, is set to engage in discussions with various political figures in the country.

During this visit, Al-Aeraji will be accompanied by the Interior Minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, as well as the Head of the Neighboring Countries Department from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
