Former Hezbollah minister Mustafa Bayram emphasized that the objective is to construct a sovereign state characterized by dignity and strength, rather than one manipulated by external powers.

During a local graduation ceremony in southern Lebanon on Friday, Bayram emphasized that the achievements of students serve as a form of resistance.

Bayram, speaking to Al-Manar, emphasized that the residents of southern Lebanon demonstrate resilience, asserting that wounds do not defeat them, sadness does not immobilize them, and challenges do not obstruct their progress.

The former labor minister emphasized the enduring principles held by the group, expressing that despite any sacrifices and challenges faced, they live with dignity and maintain pride until the end.

Hezbollah representative, Bayram, expressed the group’s aspiration for a sovereign state that prioritizes the protection of its citizens and maintains independence, free from foreign influence.

He emphasized that the late Hezbollah Secretary Generals, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, remain with us in spirit, offering their support to the leaders, fighters, and the people of the resistance.

The comments were made during an event where Hezbollah marked the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

Earlier on Thursday, thousands of resistance supporters lit up the Raouche Rock in Beirut with projections featuring images of Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Safieddine.
