Imam Khamenei Hails Sayyed Nasrallah as a Pillar for Muslims, Affirms Hezbollah’s Endurance

Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasized the significant impact of Martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, highlighting his value to all Muslims, extending beyond just the Shia community. He further articulated that Hezbollah serves as a valuable asset for Lebanon and other countries, a role it is destined to maintain.

In a televised address on Tuesday evening, coinciding with Sacred Defense Week, Imam Khamenei emphasized that the Iranian nation’s unity played a crucial role in thwarting the adversary during the Twelve-Day War.

His Eminence referred to the 12-day conflict instigated by adversaries against the nation in June, stating that the aggressors aimed to overthrow the Islamic Establishment.

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the cohesion among Iranians thwarted the adversary’s attempts to fracture the nation and overthrow the Islamic Establishment. He observed that even months after the 12-day conflict, the nation remains unified.

Iran and Western states remain at an impasse over the issue of uranium enrichment, according to the Leader.

He expounded on the concept of enrichment, highlighting its efficacy and advantages in enhancing people’s lives. He further elaborated that enrichment finds applications across various sectors, including agriculture, industry, nutrition, environmental conservation, and the preservation of natural resources, as well as in the generation of electricity.

Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that Iran possesses the capacity to produce highly-enriched uranium, although it does not have any plans to pursue nuclear weapons in its agenda.

The Leader emphasized that airstrikes on specific Iranian nuclear facilities would not disrupt Iran’s uranium enrichment efforts. He highlighted that the advancement in uranium production has become a homegrown scientific achievement, supported by a substantial number of experts in the field.

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iran has remained steadfast against external pressures and will continue to do so in the future.

He indicated that engaging in discussions with the United States under the current conditions would be detrimental to Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei remarked that the United States has imposed excessive conditions in the ongoing discussions, notably insisting on the abandonment of nuclear enrichment and missile programs. He attributed these demands to a fundamental misunderstanding of the Islamic Republic by American officials.

Ayatollah Khaemenei criticized the US government, labeling it as deceitful and hypocritical, accusing it of employing intimidation and threats to pursue its goals.

In his concluding remarks, the Leader emphasized that Iran’s sole pathway to confronting threats lies in bolstering its strength, with steadfast faith in God. He asserted that by becoming more powerful, Iran would be impervious to any adversarial threats.
