Bahraini Citizens Honor Martyr Hezbollah Leaders Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Safieddine
On the first anniversary marking the martyrdom of the late Secretary Generals of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, numerous Bahraini demonstrators gathered for a rally to honor and pay tribute to these influential figures.

On Sunday evening, demonstrators rallied in the northern village of Karrana to commemorate the memory of deceased Hezbollah leaders. The participants passionately chanted slogans denouncing the occupying Tel Aviv regime and its primary ally, the United States.
During the demonstration, participants raised images of Nasrallah, Safieddine, and Bahrain’s leading Shia cleric, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, while waving the Bahraini flag. The crowd chanted slogans, including “America is the Great Satan.”
Protesters denounced the actions of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, criticizing its aggression and alleged crimes against the residents of the blockaded coastal area.
On September 27, 2024, Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting southern Beirut. The operation involved Israeli jets deploying 85 tons of explosives, resulting in the leveling of six residential buildings in Dahiyeh. This event was part of a week-long bombing campaign that impacted multiple regions from southern Lebanon to Beirut.
Safieddine met his demise in an Israeli assault on October 3, 2024.
Hezbollah has delayed the funeral ceremonies for its leaders, citing concerns over potential Israeli attacks targeting the events.
Nasrallah and Safieddine were interred in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on February 23.
