On Monday, Hamas released a video featuring an Israeli captive in Gaza who criticized Israeli political and military leaders, accusing them of delaying efforts for their release and advocating for the ongoing conflict, which poses a direct threat to their safety.
Hamas released a video titled “Held Captive in Gaza City for Over 700 Days,” attributing the extended detention to Netanyahu’s intransigence.
Inmate Alon Ohel expressed gratitude to his family for taking on a challenging duty, stating, “Regrettably, advocating for the release of prisoners has turned into a criminal act.”
Ohel urgently appealed to the U.S. administration to withdraw its support for what he described as the “insane” policies of Netanyahu.
