Pezeshkian Asserts Saudi Arabia’s Significant Role in Fostering Muslim Unity Against ‘israel’
Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has remarked that significant Muslim nations, with a specific emphasis on Saudi Arabia, bear a "very heavy responsibility" in the present circumstances. He asserted that solidarity among Islamic countries could act as a deterrent against Israeli aggression.

Pezeshkian conveyed his statements during a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held alongside the emergency summit of Islamic countries and the Arab League leaders in Doha, Qatar, on Monday.
The event is convened to deliberate on a formal response to Israel’s September 9 strikes, which aimed at targeting the leaders of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, in Doha.
The Iranian president emphasized that the unity among Islamic nations would prevent the Israeli regime from launching attacks or invasions against any Muslim country. He also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s potential pivotal role in fostering unity among Islamic states.
Bin Salman conveyed his satisfaction with the growing relations between prominent Islamic nations, including Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
He stressed that Islamic nations need to achieve greater empowerment in the long run to more effectively safeguard their independence and dignity within the Islamic world and to deter the aggression and excesses of the Zionist regime.
He emphasized the seriousness of the regional context and the developments in Palestine, stating, “Our region is in a unique situation, and fostering collaboration and unity among us, yourselves, and other Islamic nations is not an option, but an absolute imperative.”
Islamic nations coming together in unity represents the strongest strategy to address Israel’s actions.
During a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Pezeshkian emphasized that bolstering “unity and cohesion among Islamic countries” serves as the most effective strategy to address and prevent the recurrence of Israel’s actions.
The Egyptian President emphasized the importance of strengthening ties among Islamic nations, urging them to “adopt a unified, practical stance” in response to the increasing Israeli offenses.
He conveyed satisfaction regarding the positive developments in the bilateral relationship between the two nations, noting that Iran and Egypt possess significant potential “to advance mutual interests along with benefiting the broader regional community.”
In a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pezeshkian highlighted that addressing what he termed as “the savage crimes” of Israel requires a unified front among Islamic nations, urging them to adopt a cohesive stance and implement concrete measures.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has emphasized the importance of a “coherent and unified stance” among nations against actions by Israel, urging Islamic countries to undertake “consolidated” measures to prevent further acts of aggression.

He voiced disappointment that nations proclaiming to champion freedom and human rights have not only remained silent on the situation in Gaza but have also extended military and legal backing to the Israeli regime.
In a bilateral meeting with Tajikistan’s leader Emomali Rahmon, Pezeshkian emphasized that with the support of the United States and European nations, Israel allegedly disregards any restrictions or boundaries concerning its actions.
He emphasized that the “unity and cohesion of Islamic nations” is the only force capable of halting “the killing machine and crimes of this barbaric regime.”
