US and Israel’s Efforts to Weaken Iran’s Nuclear and Defense Systems Ineffective: Army Chief Reports
Major General Amir Hatami, Chief of Iran's Army, stated that the United States and the Israeli regime sought to undermine Iran's nuclear, missile, and defense capabilities during a 12-day conflict in June. However, he noted that these efforts did not succeed in achieving their primary objectives.

Hatami delivered his comments during a gathering with several Iranian commanders, pilots, and military personnel while visiting Army units in the cities of Isfahan, Tabriz, and Hamadan.
A statement has been made emphasizing the failure of adversaries’ attempts to dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities. According to the speaker, Iran’s nuclear advancements are deeply rooted in domestic science and technology, rendering them indestructible despite external pressures.
During the 12-day conflict, he stated, the adversary was unable to demolish Iran’s missile capabilities. The nation effectively forced the foe into submission, launching missile strikes against targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In the concluding phase of the conflict, more formidable strikes were executed, presenting a significant challenge to the adversary’s missile defense system, Hatami highlighted.
The Army Chief elaborated that the adversary was unsuccessful in dismantling Iran’s defensive strength and capabilities, as the nation’s defense forces remain actively engaged in their strategic role.
He stated that adversaries aimed to undermine the Islamic establishment and national unity, yet they misjudged the situation and suffered a significant defeat, as the Iranian populace stood resolute in safeguarding the nation.
Hatami emphasized the importance of maintaining national readiness and bolstering defense capabilities, highlighting that the adversary has revealed its malicious intentions in the recent conflict, demonstrating a willingness to commit any atrocity.
The comments followed a 12-day conflict that began on June 13, triggered by Israel’s initiation of strikes described as unprovoked, which targeted senior commanders, nuclear scientists, and resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians. The United States also participated in the conflict, conducting airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, actions that have been criticized as clear violations of international law.
On June 24, Iran executed successful countermeasures against both Israel and the United States, effectively putting a stop to the hostile actions.
On Thursday, Major General Ali Abdollahi, the newly installed leader of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, announced that Iran’s Armed Forces have bolstered their readiness and improved their capabilities following the recent 12-day conflict involving Israel and the United States.
