Yemen Issues Stark Warning to ‘israel’ Following Officials’ Assassination: “Dark Days Await”
Yemen's leader has issued a stern warning to Israel over Sana’a's imminent retaliation following the assassination of the prime minister and eight other officials of the Arabian Peninsula country, implicating Tel Aviv in the recent attack.

Mahdi al-Mashat issued a stark warning on Saturday, declaring that “dark days” lie ahead, promising retribution and indicating that security will elude those addressed in his emphatic speech.
He stated that the sacrifices of these revered martyrs would serve as a powerful catalyst for resilience, determination, and commitment, while affirming the nation’s continued efforts to strengthen its Armed Forces.
**”Assured Triumph”**
An official declared that their resilience remains unbreakable due to their faith in a higher power, emphasizing that martyrdom is considered a divine honor and victory is a certain promise.
The statements followed Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, resulting in the death of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi of the National Government of Change and Construction, along with several other officials from different governmental departments.
The attacks occurred within the framework of the regime’s ongoing incursions against the nation.
Hostilities commenced following the initiation of near-daily military operations by the Armed Forces against key Israeli installations. This was in retaliation to what has been described as a genocidal campaign launched by Tel Aviv on the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
**’Victims Confronted Ultimate Adversaries of Faith’**
Mashat praised the victims as “exemplars of responsibility and service,” noting they had sacrificed their lives while upholding the nation’s steadfast commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.
He further stated that the martyrs sacrificed their lives in opposition to “the fiercest adversaries, the criminal Zionists.”
He connected their fatalities to the broader suffering in Gaza, referencing “innocent children lost” and “women who have become widows, grieving mothers, captives, injured, or counted among the deceased.”
Highlighting the potential magnitude of Yemen’s forthcoming response, he called on companies to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories before it becomes “too late.” He asserted that Yemeni resilience has the power to “topple the thrones of empires,” questioning the stability of a “transient entity.”
