IRGC Asserts Defeat of Adversary’s Scheme in 12-Day Conflict with ‘israel’

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that Iran's intelligence operations conducted within Israel were pivotal in the success of the Islamic Republic's missile and drone assaults during the recent 12-day conflict. They pointed to the Israeli regime's intelligence shortcomings as a crucial element contributing to its setback.

In a statement on Thursday, IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naini emphasized that intelligence operations within the territory referred to as the Zionist regime have successfully clarified numerous uncertainties and significantly enhanced the IRGC’s database.

A spokesperson stated, “The information bank played a pivotal role in both missile and drone assaults, leveraging data gathered through cyber espionage, infiltration, and fresh intelligence acquisition. The opponent’s downfall in the conflict was largely attributed to their shortcomings in intelligence.”

On June 13, Israel initiated a military operation against Iran, leading to a 12-day conflict that resulted in the deaths of at least 1,064 people. Among the casualties were military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.

The United States has initiated military action by launching airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, a move that represents a significant breach of international law.

In retaliation, the Iranian Armed Forces launched strikes on strategic locations throughout the occupied territories and the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military installation in West Asia.

General Naeini hailed the IRGC’s operations as a significant triumph in dismantling terrorist networks and stopping arms trafficking across Tabriz, Mazandaran, Isfahan, and other areas. He emphasized that these operations were crucial in thwarting potential enemy attacks.

The deputy for public relations of the IRGC emphasized that prior to the onset of the conflict, the majority of counter-revolutionary leaders had been detained. Furthermore, throughout the twelve days of warfare, there was an absence of any terrorist activities conducted by organized groups.

The spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps elaborated on the comprehensive strategies of adversaries targeting the Islamic Republic, both prior to and throughout the 12-day conflict. He stated, “Counter-revolutionary forces had allocated various roles, orchestrating terrorist activities aimed at Tehran from directions including the northwest, southeast, as well as within territories of Iraq and Pakistan. However, all these schemes were successfully dismantled.”

Additionally, he highlighted notable achievements by the IRGC in tackling significant arms smuggling operations in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and Pakistan, alongside operations targeting the Mujahedin Khalq (MKO) terrorist organization.

In other statements, General Naeini highlighted the prevailing sentiment of triumph and assurance among the Iranian public in response to the Israeli-US military aggression against Iran. He emphasized that “Eighty-two percent of the nation’s people believe in Iran’s victory.”

According to reliable international surveys, over 60 percent of regional public sentiment and more than 80 percent of Iranians perceive that Iran emerged triumphant in the conflict. The adversary, the findings suggest, did not accomplish its strategic aims, such as driving a wedge between the citizenry and the government. Instead, the war served to fortify national unity, he stressed.

On June 24, Iran effectively carried out successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli government and the United States, resulting in a cessation of the aggressive actions described as terrorist in nature.

General Naeini stated that the nation’s economy remained resilient despite sanctions and pressures, with prices stabilizing and daily life carrying on as usual. He emphasized that the chain of command, control, and response was maintained and executed swiftly. Although some commanders were martyred, operations proceeded without disruption. Furthermore, over 120 countries and international organizations issued condemnations of the actions taken by the Zionist regime.

In a statement on Thursday, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Cultural and Software Affairs, asserted that Iran prevailed in the 12-day conflict in June. He further noted that the adversary “miscalculated,” ultimately resulting in its defeat by the Islamic Republic.
