Iran Declares Victory Over Israeli-US Forces, Senior Commander Announces Defeat of Foe
A high-ranking Iranian military official has declared that the Islamic Republic claimed victory in a 12-day conflict initiated by the United States and Israel in June, successfully defeating its adversaries.
The adversary attempted to topple the Islamic establishment within a week through the use of advanced weaponry and comprehensive hybrid warfare, yet it miscalculated, stated Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Cultural and Software Affairs, at a ceremony recognizing media activists and reporters on Thursday.
He stated that the resilience of the Iranian people, the astute guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the significant contributions of the Armed Forces were pivotal in securing the nation’s triumph over adversaries in the imposed conflict.
He observed that numerous Western nations backed Israel in its conflict with Iran, suggesting they were ultimately compelled to propose a ceasefire.
An Iranian commander highlighted the critical significance of focusing on both soft and media warfare. He commended Iranian media personnel and reporters for their valuable contributions to supporting the courageous fighters during the conflict, noting their pivotal role in achieving the nation’s ultimate victory.
He stated that media professionals have the power to instill hope and confidence throughout the nation while simultaneously discouraging adversaries.
He once more underscored the Armed Forces’ comprehensive readiness to protect the nation and emphasized the significance of bolstering their support and strengthening national unity.
On June 13, Israel initiated a significant military operation against Iran, resulting in a 12-day conflict that claimed the lives of at least 1,064 individuals, encompassing military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
The United States has reportedly initiated military action by targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities, raising significant concerns about potential breaches of international law.
The Iranian Armed Forces launched a counteroffensive, targeting strategic locations throughout the occupied territories and also aiming at the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, which holds the distinction of being the largest American military installation in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran executed successful countermeasures against both Israel and the United States, effectively bringing an end to the ongoing hostilities.
