Iran’s Military Issues Stern Warning: Any Aggression to Face Robust Retaliation
The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has vowed to address any threats posed to Iran and the Islamic Revolution with increased vigor and determination.
In a statement released on Monday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces extended congratulations to the nation on the occasion of Government Week. The statement praised the endeavors of Iranian officials, with particular emphasis on President Masoud Pezeshkian, and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the objectives of the Islamic Revolution.
In a recent statement, the Armed Forces pledged to reinforce the nation’s unity, solidarity, and cooperation with its citizens and officials, particularly highlighting the support of the President. This unified approach aims to address and counter any threats posed by adversaries of the country and the Islamic Revolution with heightened determination, ensuring that those who oppose Iran will rue their actions indefinitely.
The statement expressed profound appreciation for the support extended by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during the 12-day conflict imposed by the US and Israel on Iran.
The statement emphasized that, in accordance with the leader’s directives, all efforts will be deployed to safeguard the nation’s interests, the beloved territorial integrity of Iran, and the foundation of the revered Islamic Republic system.
The statement further emphasized that throughout the tumultuous period of the Islamic Revolution, the unity between the nation and its leaders, alongside the armed forces, has thwarted adversarial efforts against Iran, transforming their malicious schemes into disappointment and failure.
Following their setback in the 12-day conflict, the United States and Israel attempted to incite division within Iran as a means of recuperating from their losses. However, the alertness and awareness of the Iranian nation effectively foiled these efforts, the report indicated.
The statement cautioned that any internal disagreements or dissenting voices, whether from specific groups or platforms, that threaten national unity are effectively aiding the interests of the Zionists and the United States.
The statement further asserted that by disseminating misleading depictions and distorting facts, “the system of dominance” attempts to “erode the sacred unity” between the nation and its leaders.
The statement emphasized that Iran’s vigilant and resilient populace, guided by their wise and devoted leader, remains steadfast in their support for officials and the courageous Armed Forces. In defiance of adversaries’ schemes, the nation has reportedly become even more united and cohesive in the face of external plots and hostility.
On Sunday, the leader underscored the importance of maintaining national unity and backing the country’s officials, cautioning that adversaries aim to sow discord after their inability to overcome Iran through warfare.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the necessity of preserving the “invincible shield of solidarity” among the citizens, government, and Armed Forces, stating that this unity must remain intact.
