Zionist Terror Forces Suffer Devastating “Friendly Fire” Incident: 78 Soldiers Lost
Zionist forces have acknowledged that 78 of their soldiers were inadvertently killed by friendly fire in Gaza, underscoring significant military errors amidst the continuing conflict involving Palestinian casualties.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that 78 officers and soldiers have lost their lives due to friendly fire or operational incidents since the onset of the conflict in Gaza. Additionally, the number of wounded personnel has reached 1,998.
A total of 899 military personnel have lost their lives since the conflict commenced, with 455 casualties reported during the ground operations in Gaza. The tally of injured individuals has climbed to 6,210, of which 925 are in critical condition.
In the course of the ground offensive, a total of 2,880 soldiers sustained injuries, with 552 of those being classified as serious.
On Saturday, the Israeli military confirmed the death of an officer in southern Khan Younis, located in the Gaza Strip, as reported by Israeli media outlets. The officer served as a platoon commander in the Shimshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade and hailed from Meitar.
In the ongoing conflict, Palestinian Resistance forces persist in their operations against Israeli troops, engaging across multiple fronts and causing both casualties and equipment losses to the Israeli military.
The al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military division, declared that they had struck two Israeli tanks using high-explosive improvised explosive devices in the vicinity east of the al-Rawda site located in Gaza City’s southern al-Zaytoun neighborhood. The Brigades indicated that their operatives witnessed a rescue unit approaching the location.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades have released video evidence of a coordinated military action alongside the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the armed faction of the Popular Resistance Committees. This operation targeted a congregation of Israeli military forces and vehicles using mortar shells in the area surrounding Villas Street, located to the north of Khan Younis.
On August 22, the al-Qassam Brigades reported a deadly incident involving an Israeli soldier, who was allegedly shot with machine gun fire in an ambush as he exited a Merkava tank near Badr Mosque, located south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The al-Quds Brigades announced that they have targeted Israeli military equipment in the vicinity of al-Muhandis Hall, located in the al-Satar al-Gharbi area of northern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The operation involved the use of standard 60mm mortar rounds.
