Yemeni Forces Launch Counterattack with Missile Strike on Ben Gurion Airport
The Yemeni military has announced a strike on a significant target within the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. This action is described as a retaliation against what they term as the regime's genocidal actions in Gaza and incursions into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound located in occupied East Jerusalem.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for Yemen, announced that the nation’s missile force deployed a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile in an operation targeting Ben Gurion International Airport near Lod on Tuesday.
The statement indicated that the operation effectively met its objective, compelling hundreds of thousands of unauthorized settlers to take shelter in bomb shelters.
Yemen has declared its steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, drawing on its rich historical heritage, religious culture, and deeply ingrained values. The nation aims to continue its principled stand in solidarity with those it views as oppressed.
Saree stated that Yemenis, committed to their course, will remain resilient against potential threats, regardless of their severity or the seriousness of their consequences.
A commitment has been made by the Yemeni military to persist with its retaliatory operations against Israel until the aggression in Gaza is halted and the blockade on the region is fully lifted.
Israeli media outlets have reported that a recent missile attack originating from Yemen activated warning sirens in the central regions of the occupied territories, including al-Quds, early Tuesday morning.
A missile attack triggered widespread panic among unauthorized settlers, prompting hundreds of thousands to take shelter in bomb shelters.
Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency response service has indicated that there were no direct injuries reported as a result of the attack, nor were there any impacts from debris.
The military subsequently stated that its anti-air missile systems successfully “intercepted” the incoming projectile.
This development follows an announcement made two days prior by the Yemeni military, which took responsibility for launching a series of airstrikes targeting Israeli locations with the use of three drones.
A spokesperson for the Yemeni military announced on al-Masirah television that on Sunday evening, two drones targeted military sites in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon. A third drone reportedly struck the port town of Eilat.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced their commitment to continuing solidarity operations until Israel ends its ground and aerial attacks in Gaza.
The ongoing conflict in Israel has tragically claimed the lives of over 61,000 Palestinians, with a significant number of the casualties being women and children.
