UN Reports Over 100 Gazans Killed by Zionist Forces in Two-Day Food Search
The United Nations announced on Friday that Israeli forces have killed more than 100 Palestinians in Gaza over a span of two days during their search for food. Additionally, hundreds have sustained injuries along the routes of food convoys or in proximity to Israeli-controlled aid distribution locations.

According to the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq has voiced concern about the escalating fatalities and injuries among Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as they attempt to obtain essential food supplies.
The human rights team has reported that over 100 individuals have been killed in the last 48 hours, with hundreds more sustaining injuries along the routes used by food convoys or in the vicinity of Israeli militarized distribution centers, according to a statement by Haq.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) emphasized the necessity of ensuring that individuals are never compelled to endanger their lives in order to secure food. OCHA stressed the importance of safeguarding civilians at all times and called for the unobstructed facilitation of community-level aid delivery on a large scale.
He highlighted that the prolonged blockade imposed by the Israeli regime on the coastal area has exacerbated the shortage of essential goods, intensifying the humanitarian crisis. The situation, he stated, can only be alleviated by ensuring the “unrestricted flow of aid” into Gaza.
“He emphasized that humanitarians must be granted swift, secure, and unrestricted access to provide aid in a safe and dignified manner.”
Israeli authorities’ designated routes for our teams continue to be inadequate, frequently posing hazards, congestion concerns, or being completely impassable, as he emphasized.
The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has issued a warning that Gaza is on the brink of a significant famine threat.
The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) issued a report on Tuesday, cautioning that Gaza is at a high risk of famine, with food consumption and nutrition indicators hitting their lowest points since the onset of the conflict.
According to a report, there is increasing evidence that starvation, malnutrition, and disease are contributing to a surge in deaths linked to hunger. Recent data reveal that famine conditions have been met for food consumption across much of the Gaza Strip, as well as for acute malnutrition in Gaza City.
The report urged an immediate halt to the blockade and advocated for the resumption of food and vital supply distribution by the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations, in line with humanitarian principles.
For the past 18 years, Israel has enforced a blockade on Gaza, and since March 2, 2025, following a breach of its ceasefire agreement with the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, it has closed all border crossings. This has effectively halted the entry of aid, exacerbating the already severe humanitarian crisis in the region.
Since the onset of hostilities in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 60,332 Palestinians and left more than 147,643 wounded, with the majority of the casualties reportedly being women and children.
