Iran Dismisses West’s ‘Absurd Assassination Allegations’ as Diversion from ‘israeli’ Actions
Iran has categorically rejected allegations from Western nations, describing them as "baseless and ridiculous." The accusations suggest Tehran's involvement in coordinating with international criminal organizations for the execution of assassination plots overseas.

Iran has expressed strong disapproval of a joint statement issued by the United States, Canada, and multiple European nations. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei denounced the anti-Iran allegations presented in the statement, which was released on Thursday.
He described the “blatant blame game” as an effort to steer public focus away from the most urgent issue currently, which he identified as the ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine.
“He added that the United States, France, and other countries that endorsed the anti-Iran declaration should be held accountable for their own actions that contravene international law, as they allegedly support and provide refuge to terrorist and violent elements and groups.”
Baghaei highlighted the recent unprovoked actions by the US and Israel against Iran in June, as well as Israel’s continuing military operations in the Gaza Strip. These actions are occurring amidst either active support or tacit approval from 14 Western countries that have endorsed a statement against the Islamic Republic.
He went on to condemn the allegations, describing them as “blatant lies and a desperate ploy, crafted as part of a malicious Iranophobia campaign with the intent to apply pressure on the great Iranian nation.”
The spokesperson emphasized that the 14 states in question must face accountability for their “disgraceful and irresponsible” actions, which are alleged to contravene the principles of international law and the provisions of the United Nations Charter.
In a joint statement, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States have accused Iranian intelligence agencies of actively engaging in operations aimed at “killing, kidnapping, and harassing individuals” across Europe and North America.
