Two Zionist Soldiers Sent to Hell in Khan Younis Amid Gaza Strip Tensions

Two zionist soldiers, one of whom belonged to the Golani Brigade, lost their lives when Hamas militants detonated an explosive device targeting a Namer armored vehicle in a tunnel ambush in Khan Younis.

The Israeli military confirmed on Sunday morning the fatalities of two soldiers, one serving as a technology and maintenance officer and another from the elite Golani Brigade, in combat operations in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday. The incident occurred following an assault on an Israeli armored vehicle in Khan Younis, specifically targeting a Namer armored personnel carrier (APC).

Palestinian Resistance fighters in Gaza have reportedly attached an explosive device to a Namer armored personnel carrier in Khan Younis, igniting it, as reported by the Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth.

According to details reported by Maariv, Palestinian combatants emerged from a tunnel entrance in close proximity to a Golani Brigade position in Khan Younis. They successfully approached an Israeli armored vehicle, affixing an explosive device before making their escape.

Initial inquiries have determined that three soldiers occupied the Namer vehicle during the explosion. Two of the soldiers were killed on impact, while the third soldier was injured and subsequently airlifted to the hospital by an air force aircraft following immediate first aid at the location.

The 36th Division of the Israeli army has initiated an inquiry to understand how the fighters managed to approach the armored vehicle without detection and effectively plant the explosive device.

The situation highlights the persistent threat from Hamas tunnel activities, which remain a significant challenge to the movement and security of Israeli forces in southern Gaza.

The military announced on Saturday that another soldier has succumbed to severe injuries sustained from an explosive device that targeted a military vehicle in a different location within the Gaza Strip several days ago. This latest casualty increases the total number of recent military fatalities to three.

In a recent development, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, declared on Saturday that its operatives successfully executed a sophisticated ambush. The operation targeted three Israeli armored personnel carriers located east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a recent announcement, the Brigades detailed that their operatives successfully destroyed two armored vehicles by activating pre-positioned explosive devices placed within the command compartments. The resulting detonations caused the destruction and incineration of both vehicles along with their crews.

A third armored vehicle was subsequently hit by a Yassin 105 shell in the vicinity of Abasan al-Kabira, located east of Khan Younis.

Reports from various Israeli media sources indicate that the death toll of occupation troops has increased to three following today’s resistance operation in Khan Younis.
