Sheikh Qassem Urges Reversal of ‘israel’ Normalization: Calls for Unity in Backing Palestine and Gaza
Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has expressed that the Palestinian population living in Gaza continues to face oppression.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stated that the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip is facing severe aggression, brutality, genocide, starvation, and murder from American-Israeli forces, actions he claims surpass all human and moral norms.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem asserted that the worldwide silence serves as an indictment of governments and leaders, effectively undermining what is referred to as international law.
The call from twenty-five nations for an end to the conflict in Gaza is insufficient, according to some observers. Mere statements and condemnations, it is argued, fail to absolve those who have been complicit through either support or silence since the onset of hostilities. The demand is for these verbal positions to be translated into tangible actions, such as imposing sanctions on Israel, isolating the state, pursuing legal action, and ceasing all forms of engagement.
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that the primary duty lies with the Arab and Islamic nations, urging both leaders and citizens to take action. He called for an end to normalization, the closure of hostile embassies, the cessation of trade, and for unified support of Palestine and Gaza, even if only with essential resources. He asserted that a united front in solidarity with the Palestinian people would compel America to reconsider its stance and withdraw.
Sheikh Qassem concluded with a strong condemnation, stating, “History will document this period as a disgraceful chapter marked by the actions of global leaders and regimes during an era characterized by hateful starvation and mass suffering of the malnourished. The injustice perpetrated by America and ‘Israel’ will also implicate those who remain silent in supporting the oppressed. It should be known that ‘the wrongdoers will not succeed,’ and that Israel’s immense brutality and arrogance will ultimately lead to its own devastating downfall, according to God’s will.”
