60,000 Weapons Destined for Tehran Intercepted as Mossad-Trained Terror Cell Uncovered
Iranian security forces have announced the interception of 60,000 weapons destined for Tehran and the dismantling of a terror cell allegedly trained by Mossad. Authorities suggest this group exploited recent unrest to launch fatal attacks, with initially peaceful protests escalating into violence purportedly backed by foreign entities.

The Law Enforcement Command of Iran, known as FARAJA, has reported the seizure of 60,000 weapons from individuals described as rioters in Bushehr. The authorities indicated that the arms were intended to be transported to Tehran.
In an official statement, authorities confirmed that two individuals identified as terrorists were apprehended during the operation.
Meanwhile, intelligence agencies successfully identified and apprehended individuals belonging to a “dangerous and armed terrorist group” assigned with plotting to kill people.
Tasnim news agency reports that the cell received training from Mossad in advanced urban warfare techniques and was directed to leverage the unrest to inflict casualties, having allegedly engaged in multiple acts of terrorism.
The report indicated that the gang, after being supplied with a range of weapons and urban warfare equipment by designated leaders, proceeded through the streets of the capital, launching an attack that resulted in hundreds of casualties, both killed and injured.
Recent imagery captured from the operations of this terrorist group reveals the allocation of a diverse array of weaponry, featuring AK-47 rifles and shotguns, alongside communication devices like satellite phones, utilized by the skilled operatives to orchestrate attacks resulting in the deaths of hundreds.
Members of this group orchestrated attacks on military and police headquarters, seizing weapons which they subsequently distributed to incite urban warfare and elevate the death toll.
The report stated that authorities uncovered and seized substantial quantities of diverse weaponry, ammunition, and satellite equipment during the operation.
Initially peaceful demonstrations that commenced late last month have increasingly devolved into violence. Rioters have swept through various cities nationwide, resulting in casualties among both security forces and civilians, while also targeting public infrastructure.
Iranian authorities have attributed the recent unrest and acts of terrorism to the involvement of the United States and Israel.
The United States and Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, have acknowledged their active participation on the ground. Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted, extending New Year wishes to Iranians protesting in the streets and to Mossad agents accompanying them.
In a Farsi-language social media communication, Mossad urged demonstrators to “take to the streets collectively,” declaring that “the time has come.” The message asserted the involvement of Mossad operatives alongside the protesters, both in spirit and actively “in the field.”
