Terrorist Groups Suffer Heavy Casualties in Clashes with Syrian Army North of Hama

A military source said that at least 40 terrorists of Ahrar al-Sham and al-Nusra Front have been killed in fierce clashes with the Syrian Army troops in Northern Hama.
The Syrian soldiers engaged in heavy fighting with the terrorists of al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham near the town of Maan North of Hama province, which ended in the killing of at least 40 terrorists and wounding of many more.

The terrorists’ military equipment and vehicles also sustained major damage in the clashes.

In relevant developments in the province on Saturday, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their advances in Hama and seized back strategic hilltops in the Eastern part of the province.

The army units and resistance forces took full control of Qatna and Marina hilltops in Ithriya in Eastern Hama.

The Syrian army also seized back Abu al-Zayn-8 region after advancing in Ithriya region for 12 kilometers.

Meantime, the Syrian air force struck the military positions of Ahrar al-Sham in al-Zara and Hirbnafsa in the Southern part of Hama province, killing at least 40 militants.
