Tehran’s street to be named after Christian martyr Lazar

District 11 of Tehran Municipality has decided to name one of the streets in the district after the Iranian Christian martyr Robert Lazar who lost his life during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war on Islamic Republic.

Family of the fallen Christian soldier, during a visit last year by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei, asked for a street or alley in the Iranian capital to be named after their martyred son, said the office of the public relations of the municipality.The District 11 of Tehran Municipality has decided to do so by renaming the Third Kamali Street in the vicinity of the Horr Square after Robert Lazar, the martyr of the sacred defense, it said.

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Sayyed Imam Ali Khamenei last year and on the occasion of Jesus Christ birth anniversary, paid a visit to the family of Robert Lazar.
