Syrian PM: Rebuilding phase requires comprehensive administrative development

20140325-230555 (1)Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi asserted that realizing the hopes and aspirations of citizens is the primary goal of the government, and that this will be carried out according to a timetable covering all provinces which emphasizes partnership with citizens to deal with all issues and concern and achieve comprehensive development.
Chairing a weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, al-Halqi underlined the importance of the ministers conducting visits and getting in touch with citizens, asserting that the upcoming rebuilding stage requires comprehensive administrative development and optimal investment of available resources.
He called for seeking qualified and upright administrative staff in all state junctures and avoid corruption and administrative shortcomings, in addition to developing the services sectors and simplifying administrative procedures.
The Prime Minister said the escalation of terrorism in some areas is caused by the terrorist groups’ failure to achieve any victories on the ground, denouncing the blatant attack by Erdogan’s government and his terrorist gangs on Syrian territories, noting that Erodgan’s actions seek to cover up the troubles he is facing and the corruption charges against him and his government.
Regarding the economic state, al-Halqi said the government revitalized the credit line with Iran, which should result in a considerable flow of goods into Syrian markets within the next few days.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, Local Administration Minister Omar Ghalawanji, reviewed the state of the services sector and the constant terrorist attacks on it.
In turn, Social Affairs Minister Kinda al-Shammat reviewed the results of her field visit to Deir Ezzor province, with al-Halqi affirming commitment to improving the state of services and citizens’ living standards there.
