Syrian export Authority productin, Jordanian delegation discuss trade cooperation vision

Damascus, SANA-The Local Production and Export Support and Development Authority discussed Tuesday with a delegation from the Jordanian and Amman Chambers of commerce a comprehensive vision for trade openness policies, particularly cooperation in the fields of import and export between the two countries.

The meeting addressed the’’ importance of benefiting from Jordanian expertise in the field of promotion, export support, and market feasibility studies for target countries, as well as determining the priorities of materials to be exported, without harming industrialists and commercial interests in both countries.

Dr. Firas Ghafir, Director General of the Authority, explained that’’ the export mechanisms followed between the two countries and the facilities that can be provided in this framework were discussed, as well as the possibility of signing a protocol or memorandum of understanding to benefit from the expertise and experiences of the Jordanian Export House in supporting exports.
