Sayyed al Houthi: US of Instigating Gaza Genocide, Urges Support in Arming Palestinians

The head of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has accused the United States of supporting Israel in carrying out a genocidal offensive on Gaza, implicating it as a collaborator in the large-scale loss of life.

In a televised address on Thursday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi asserted that the relentless attacks by the Zionist regime, conducted with full backing from the United States, have resulted in the displacement of the majority of the population in the Gaza Strip.

He stated that the United States endorses the forced relocation of Gaza’s residents, adding that Zionist authorities have acknowledged receiving complete freedom from the U.S. concerning actions in the Gaza Strip.

The conflict in Gaza persists, with accusations against Israel of intensifying its military activities in the region, reportedly supported by the United States. Claims have surfaced regarding the use of U.S.-made weaponry in the ongoing assaults on refugee areas. Reports indicate that the healthcare infrastructure has been severely impacted, with incidents such as the targeting of medical facilities, including the recent event at the al-Ma’madani Hospital.

The al-Ma’madani, also known as al-Ahli Arab, was the final operational hospital in Gaza. It suffered damage from two Israeli missiles, an action that the United Nations described as delivering “a severe blow to an already devastated healthcare system in the Strip” on Sunday.

The Houthi group has reported that the United States has recently intensified its delivery of substantial shipments of munitions and military equipment to Israel.

In light of recent developments, it has become evident that members of the Qassam and Quds Brigades, along with other Palestinian factions, have maintained a resolute stance despite facing challenging circumstances. The close-quarters engagements by these resistance fighters against Israeli forces in Gaza underscore their remarkable courage.

Houthi emphasized the importance of focusing on providing arms to the Palestinian population, suggesting that if Arab governments had done so from the outset, the current circumstances might have been significantly altered.

He referenced the disarmament of Palestinians in 1967 by Egypt and Jordan, noting that this action left the Palestinian population vulnerable and defenseless against what he termed as the Zionist adversary.

Houthi has raised concerns over the Israeli military’s recent actions, completing the encirclement of Rafah and establishing the Morag Axis. He warned that these maneuvers pose a threat to Egypt’s national security, potentially violating the existing peace treaty.

He highlighted Israel’s ongoing assaults on Lebanon in spite of the existing ceasefire agreement, emphasizing that these violations persist with backing from the United States.

An official remarked that Tel Aviv’s perspective on Lebanon aligns with its “Greater Israel” initiative. He further stated that Hezbollah has been instrumental in safeguarding Lebanon, securing remarkable achievements among Muslim and Arab nations in the resistance against the Zionist regime.

He emphasized the significant sacrifices made by Hezbollah in safeguarding Lebanon and expressed the view that, instead of conspiring against the group, there should be support for it. His remarks come amid efforts by certain factions to disarm the organization.

The Houthi group has declared that any suggestion to disarm Hezbollah is unreasonable. They emphasized that capitulating to demands to disarm the resistance equates to yielding to adversarial pressure.

He cautioned that the Lebanese must recognize resistance as an indispensable course of action, warning that the abandonment of resistance in Lebanon could lead to significant peril.

Houthi highlighted the establishment of nine bases by Israel in southern Syria, stating that “the Zionist enemy’s aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria serves as sufficient evidence that Muslim nations require a form of deterrence.”

He emphasized that the Islamic community requires armaments for self-defense now more than ever, asserting that it is the Zionist regime, rather than the resistance, that should be disarmed.

He highlighted the United States and United Kingdom’s aggressive actions towards Yemen, stating they have conducted 900 air and naval strikes on the nation. However, Yemeni armed forces have successfully downed 19 American MQ-9 drones to date.

Yemeni forces have reportedly engaged in 33 encounters with American warships in the Red Sea, according to a statement. The continuous deployment of US aircraft carriers to the area is seen as indicative of the ineffectiveness of their missions, as suggested by the same sources.

Yemeni armed forces have reportedly conducted over 122 drone and missile operations targeting Israel since the start of its offensive on Gaza in October 2023.

Israel is accused of committing a variety of genocidal acts in the Gaza Strip, according to statements from the Houthi movement. They have highlighted the use of starvation as a tactic of warfare against the Gazan population, pointing to the ongoing blockade that restricts the flow of humanitarian aid into the region.

The United Nations has recognized the hardships inflicted by the ongoing aid blockade, yet the Zionist regime continues to employ tactics that involve the starvation of civilians for over six weeks.

The Houthi group has echoed the demands of the Hamas resistance movement, which include a cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and the facilitation of humanitarian aid into the region, stating these align precisely with the aspirations of Gazans.

He highlighted the observance of Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, commemorated annually on April 17. Houthi stated that numerous Palestinian detainees remain in Israeli custody, emphasizing that the matter of prisoner exchange is an unassailable right for Palestinians.

The situation concerning Palestinian detainees held in Israeli facilities is a pressing matter that cannot be ignored. Israeli authorities appear to be attempting to resolve the detainee issue without engaging in any exchange, effectively bypassing the problem at hand.

Houthi has claimed that efforts are being made by what they describe as the Zionist enemy to daily detain Palestinians, resulting in the abduction and imprisonment of a significant number of individuals.

He further denounced the violation of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied East Jerusalem by Israeli settlers.

He stated that “every day, real criminals and Zionist settlers invade al-Aqsa Mosque. A key objective among them is reportedly to build a purported Jewish temple in lieu of al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Houthi has condemned Muslim governments for their silence and lack of action regarding the violations of sacred sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The leader of Ansarullah stated that the Muslim Ummah has reached a stage of indifference, remaining unresponsive regardless of how sacred an issue might be.
