Over 200 soldiers killed in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 10 days

Over 200 fighters in the Afghan security forces in the past 10 days have been killed in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province.
This comes as the Taliban fight desperately to take the city in the country’s south.
The reports come from Abdul Majeed Akhonzada, deputy head of the provincial council, and lawmaker Sheer Muhammad Akhon.

PressTV quoted sources that claimed over 100 security forces personnel were also wounded during the ongoing clashes with Taliban militants.
