Iraqi Resistance targets US base in north with drone

Iraqi Islamic Resistance said on Tuesday that its forces targeted a US-occupying base in northern Iraq near Erbil airport with drones.

“In continuation of confronting the presence of the American occupiers in Iraq and the region and in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the ordinary people in Gaza, the combatants of the Islamic Resistance of Iraq targeted the base of the American occupiers near Erbil Airport in northern Iraq with a drone,”  Iraqi Islamic Resistance said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Iraqi Resistance group further said that they would continue to fight and attack enemy’s positions.

The Iraqi group has intensified its attacks against the US bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria amid the ongoing Zionist Israeli regime’s aggression and genocidal war in Palestine.

The name of the US base near Erbil airport in Kurdistan Region is Harir and it has been targeted with missiles and drones over the past weeks since the start of the Zionist regime’s war on Gaza in Palestine on October 7. The usurping Tel Aviv regime receives full military and financial support from the United States in its war on defenseless Palestinians.
