Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has issued a response to a letter from Hezbollah’s courageous fighters, commending their sacrifices and unwavering resolve amid the ongoing Israeli conflict with Lebanon.
In a recent letter, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized that supporting Hezbollah remains a strategic policy for Iran, noting the inclusion of halting the Israeli conflict with Lebanon in the Memorandum of Understanding with the United States.
The following presents the complete text of Sayyed Khamenei’s response to the pledge of allegiance conveyed by the committed and brave fighters of Hezbollah in esteemed Lebanon.
The Quranic verse from At-Tawbah, 123, addresses believers, urging them to confront nearby disbelievers with assertiveness. The verse begins with an invocation of Allah’s mercy and grace.
To His Eminence Hujjat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Naim Qassem, the esteemed Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and to all leaders and fighters of Hezbollah who selflessly dedicate their lives with enduring patience and resilience in resistance: Peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you all.
The letter, penned by the devoted members of Hezbollah, conveys profound appreciation and acknowledgment of steadfastness in upholding the message of faith and commitment to their cause. It highlights deep adherence to the teachings of Imam Khomeini and the venerated Leader, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, reflecting a shared commitment to these revered objectives.
In the current global climate, frustration has mounted against perceived injustices and actions attributed to the U.S. administration and Zionist interests, accused by some of causing widespread disruption and harm. Consequently, many argue that the path of resistance and steadfastness is essential to achieving their objectives, with those involved believing in an eventual triumph. There is a strong conviction among these groups that victory will favor their cause, drawing upon scriptural assurances for their perseverance.
In Lebanon, Hezbollah continues to position itself as a formidable force against what it perceives as the aggressive actions of Israel and its allies. This unwavering stance has become a symbol of inspiration for those worldwide seeking liberation from perceived global oppression and its adherents. Much of this success is attributed to the perseverance, dignity, sacrifices, and solidarity of the Lebanese populace, particularly those residing in the southern regions.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, following the direction set by the esteemed Leader and Martyr of the Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has established the support for these oppressed yet resilient fighters as a lasting strategic policy. Furthermore, Iran prioritizes the preservation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and demands the complete and unconditional cessation of actions by the Zionist entity as a primary condition in any agreement to conclude the conflict initiated by the aggressor United States.
May the blessings and mercy of Almighty Allah be with the martyrs, the injured, their resilient families, and those who have migrated for the cause of Allah, easing the burden of their trials.
Blessings be upon the revered spirit of the Master of Hezbollah’s Martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with all past leaders of the resistance and their fellow martyrs, whose sacrifice and determination fostered the Islamic Resistance from its nascent stage into a formidable presence. This resistance, rooted deeply and reaching for the heavens, bestowed honor and dignity upon Lebanon in the eyes of the Islamic world.
In summary, a plea is made to the Almighty Allah, invoking the blessings from the prayers of the revered Master, for the divine protection and grace to be bestowed upon all fighters of the Resistance, including its martyrs, the wounded, the emigrants, and their resilient families. The sentiment echoes a verse aspiring to extend favor to those oppressed, with hopes of elevating them to leadership and inheritance as outlined in Al-Qasas: 5.
May Allah’s peace, mercy, and blessings be with you.
Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei
Below is the complete text of the letter sent by Hezbollah fighters to Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Husseini Khamenei, the Leader.
The Quran states in An-Nisa, verse 59, an exhortation for believers to adhere to the guidance of Allah, follow the Messenger, and respect those in positions of authority.
Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, revered as the Leader and Guardian Jurist, is extended wishes for peace, mercy, and the blessings of Allah.
Members of Hezbollah, identified as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, have expressed their sentiments through a letter filled with hope and prayers, wishing for the continued well-being and protection of their leader, invoking divine safeguarding.
Firstly, we express our salutations on the martyrdom of our father, the esteemed Guardian Leader, who culminated a legacy of dedication and leadership, seamlessly blending intellect with action. As an exceptional jurist and Qur’anic scholar, he opened avenues for contribution and remained a resolute leader until his martyrdom echoed that of his ancestor, Imam Ali, by the modern-day “Ibn Muljams.” Moreover, we extend our salutations for the martyrdom, sacrifices, and injuries endured by your compatriots in the resistance, particularly the citizens of your cherished nation, the Islamic Republic of Iran. We seek Allah’s mercy for the martyrs, a swift recovery for the injured, and patience and comfort for their families.
Those of us who have long journeyed to the sacred city of Mashhad, drawing from the pure teachings of Imam Al-Ridha, proudly uphold the banner of Imam Hussein. In the spirit of unwavering dedication and resistance, we face our adversaries with determination. We extend our greetings to our esteemed compatriots, the followers of Imam Al-Ridha, and the graduates of Imam Khomeini’s teachings. These individuals, who carry the legacy of Imam Khamenei, continue to raise the revered banner within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Basij. In them, we witness the devotion and sacrifice reminiscent of Imam Hussein, the foresight and selflessness akin to Abbas, and the unwavering loyalty seen in Salman, all fostering the ideals of guardianship within the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Today, the mantle of true Muhammadan Islam is being upheld, a task previously taken on by the martyred Guardian Leader following the legacy of the esteemed Imam Khomeini. This is the same banner that was lifted high by Imam Hussein at Karbala, where he faced vast opposing armies and resolutely declared: “By Allah, I will never surrender like the humiliated…”
In a resolute statement from the heart of the conflict, we extend our unwavering pledge of allegiance to our leader. This pledge mirrors our commitment to Imam Al-Hujjah, in anticipation of his awaited return, recognizing our leader as the rightful deputy and the embodiment of divine proof during this significant period.
We vow to persist unwaveringly in upholding dignity, showing preparedness and resilience. Just as we supported the Guardian Leader who became a martyr, we will support you, undeterred by criticism in the pursuit of divine duty. We bear the responsibility entrusted to us by the martyrs, the injured, the imprisoned, the missing, and their resolute families, while the legacy of the martyred Khamenei endures within our hearts, embodying strength and faith in divinity.
Under your leadership, and, with divine will, we aim to progress on the battlefield, holding aloft the banner of Islam, inspired by the teachings of the Qur’an and Ahl Al-Bayt. We look to Imam Al-Mahdi as our guiding light and draw inspiration from the martyrs who have paved this path. We will not feel isolated on this guided journey, supported by the families and members of the Nation of Resistance and the Front of Jihad. We march forward under the leadership of our Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, holding strong to the belief that the righteous will inherit the earth and the religion will prevail through the leadership of the Promised One from the Household of Muhammad. Until this promise is realized, we remain committed to obedience, strive for victory, and embrace the love of sacrifice. “Victory comes only from God, The Mighty, The Wise.”
In conclusion, honor and gratitude are extended to Allah, revered as the Lord of all creation.
